WebThe design rule check wants allthe pads to have a trace or zone connected to the pad center - even if they visually overlap. If you've only connected one of your pads, that's why it's complaining. In Eagle I'll use a zone for odd-shaped pads in the footprint editor, not sure if Kicad offers this feature.
